About the Role

As an Apprentice Butcher, you will learn all aspects of the trade, including:

• Preparing, cutting and trimming a variety of meat products
• Learning safe and efficient knife handling techniques
• Portioning, weighing and packaging products
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Serving customers and providing friendly service
• Maintaining clean and organised work areas
• Learning industry procedures and equipment operation
• Working as part of a supportive team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Keen to learn and build a career as a butcher
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a cool environment
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow procedures
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
• Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays when required

No previous butchering experience is required — full training and support will be provided.
