Apprentice Carpenter

At Constructive PD, we specialise in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary construction projects for some of Western Australia's most prominent builders. With a strong pipeline of landmark projects in Perth and beyond, we are on the lookout for a 1st or 2nd Year Carpentry Apprentice who is passionate about perfecting their craft and becoming top-tier tradesmen.

What You'll Be Doing:

On our commercial projects across Perth and the metro area, you'll gain hands-on experience and valuable mentorship to develop your skills. Your tasks will include:

• Installing Aluminium Façade Cladding
• Rondo and Timber Stud Wall Framing
• Working with various Cladding Systems like FC, Composite, Aluminium Solid and Cassette, and more
• Installing Fibre Cement Cladding Systems like Equitone and Exotec
• Crafting Feature Timber Ceilings, Wall Linings, and Decking
• Working on Custom Timber & Metal Pre-Fabricated Architectural Scopes

What We're Looking For:

• New Apprentices: If you're starting out, it's advantageous if you've completed a Pre-Apprenticeship in Carpentry or VET – Construction Pathways Cert 2
• Continuing Apprentices: We welcome 1st and 2nd apprentices who are eager for a fresh opportunity
• Tickets & Experience: If you have Working at Heights and/or EWP tickets, that's a bonus—but don't worry, we'll provide ongoing training!
• A current valid driver's licence is essential
• Prior exposure to construction projects, whether through work experience or industry work, is preferred
• You must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (including a Drug & Alcohol Test)
• Work Rights: You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
