Apprentice Carpenter / Skilled Labourer

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and versatile Apprentice Carpenters & Skilled Labourers to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, finishing, and general construction. This role involves performing a wide range of hands-on tasks to support building projects, restorations, and installations, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Perform site clean-up, back-framing, demolition, floor prep, drywall repairs, finishing tasks.
• Install cabinets, flooring, windows, siding, roofing, and other building components with precision
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct construction painting, caulking, windows/doors, and finishing touches to ensure high-quality results
• Support restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures
• Measure materials and estimate project requirements using construction estimating techniques
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction sites or manufacturing environments
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members

Experience

• Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related fields
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Knowledge of framing, doors, windows, flooring , siding, and drywall work is preferred
• Maintenance Person experience or general construction background highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely
• Prior experience working on restoration projects or manufacturing environments is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
