Job duties

• Assist lead carpenters with tasks as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
• Drywall Repair
• General Carpentry Rough and Finish
• Kitchen & Bathrooms
• Painting Interior and Exterior
• Flooring repair and installation
• Knowledge of Building Codes
• Material Management
• Minor Plumbing and Minor Electrical Knowledge considered an asset

Requirements

• 1-2 years in Carpentry, woodworking, or a related field
• Access to a vehicle and a valid Drivers’ license
• Personal hand tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
