Apprentice Chef | Manly Pavilion — Full-Time

Learn your trade where the ocean meets the fire.

Manly Pavilion sits on one of Sydney's most iconic waterfronts — and our kitchen matches the view. Executive Chef Andy Burns leads a tight, fast-paced team turning Australia's best produce into Mediterranean-inspired plates, with fire cooking and in-house baking at the heart of everything we do.

The role:

We're after an Apprentice Chef ready to learn the fundamentals properly. You'll work alongside Andy and a small, skilled brigade — getting real hands-on exposure to premium seasonal produce, live-fire cookery, and scratch baking every single service.

What you'll get:

• Genuine mentorship from experienced chefs who want to see you grow
• Real technical upskilling — fire, bread, whole-animal, from-scratch everything
• Modern equipment, modern technique, old-school standards
• Structured trade qualification support alongside on-the-job learning
• Career pathways across The Boathouse Group's portfolio of coastal hospitality venues
• Genuine culture and staff incentives — not just lip service
• Full-time stability with one of Sydney's most respected venues

Who we want:

• Someone starting out or early in their trade qualification
• A genuine passion for produce, cooking and getting better every day
• A team player who's not afraid of hard work and high standards

If you want to learn your craft somewhere with a view, a fire, and a team invested in your growth — this is it.
