The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Electrical Apprentice who wants multiple hands-on experience in residential HVAC and Heat Pump, Solar and Battery installations while learning from experienced team leaders, not only in electricals but gaining knowledge for refrigration as a dual trade.

You’ll assist with installations and maintenance across a variety of systems, gaining exposure to structured workflows, compliance-driven projects, and high installation standards — all while developing the skills needed to progress toward qualification and leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist team leaders with the installation of VEU products, including:

  • Heating & cooling systems
  • Multi-head units
  • VRF systems
  • Heat pump systems
  • Solar
  • Battery

• Ensure all works meet safety, quality, and compliance standards

• Work efficiently with the installation team to meet scheduled timeframes

• Represent Green Source professionally on site and with customers

• Complete job notes and installation records accurately

• Assist with service calls and basic fault-finding

• Follow all safety, industry, and company procedures

• Participate in ongoing training and skill development

• Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery

What You'll Bring:

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Reliable, honest, punctual, and professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction from qualified electricians and management
• Strong focus on workmanship quality and customer satisfaction
• Ability to follow systems, procedures, and instructions

Must-Have Licenses/Certifications:

• Certificate II in Electrotechnology (completed or in progress)

• Driver’s licence (minimum provisional)

• Own basic hand tools
