Apprentice Electrician

This role will report to the Director of Training and Development and work direct with an Electrician. The role will focus primarily on helping and assisting in the installation, change, repair and maintenance of residential electrical equipment, appliances and systems for our residential customers.

• Assist in evaluating, solving electrical problems and installing electrical systems for re-modeling projects on-site with project lead - both rough-in and final
• Support complex appliance re-locations, installations, etc.
• Collaborate with service technicians, plumbers and estimators to create the best experience and work quality for the customer.

Qualifications Needed:

In order to qualify for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This role is ideal for someone that is mechanically-inclined, interested in a long-term career as an Electrician. This is an entry-level role. In addition, we expect demonstrated experience in the following areas:

• Quick-learner, interested in a career and strong mechanical, technical aptitude.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and experience
• Dependable, friendly and thorough
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving recoprd
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check

Physical Demands:

• Requires minimum of eight hours standing, sitting in vehicle, bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body mechanics/movements.
• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of ladder, stairs, heights, platforms, attics, crawl spaces and climbing in and out of trucks or vans in tight spaces. Must have ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools safely.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
