Apprentice Electrician

Overview
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician with a minimum of 1500 hours on the job experience to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of an experienced journeyman electrician to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the electrical industry. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about electrical work and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.

We specialize in Interior Tenant Improvements. We work in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley.

Responsibilities

-Must be proficient in Splicing Device boxes and light fixtures.

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
• Perform basic electrical tasks, such as wiring, conduit bending, and circuit testing
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant codes and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area - Reliable transportation is Mandatory

Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Proficiency with hand tools used in electrical work (Required) - Proficiency with power tools used in electrical work (Beneficial)
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Familiarity with commercial and residential electrician practices is a plus
• Understanding of low voltage systems (Beneficial)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
