Enjoy working with your hands, figuring out how things work, and seeing the results of your effort? Precision Electric is hiring an entry-level Apprentice Electrician for commercial construction and remodeling projects in the Columbia area.

You don’t need electrical experience to get started. Bring dependability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. You’ll work alongside experienced electricians, develop practical skills, and take on more responsibility as you progress.

What You’ll Do

Under the direction of experienced electricians, you’ll:

• Help install conduit, wiring, electrical boxes, lighting, and devices.
• Learn to safely use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
• Measure, prepare materials, and assist with jobsite layout.
• Learn to read drawings and follow installation instructions.
• Organize tools and materials and keep work areas clean.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate with your crew.

You’ll start with the fundamentals, including material handling and cleanup, and build your installation skills as you learn.

No previous electrical experience is required. Experience with tools, mechanical work, construction, or hands-on projects is helpful, but not required. We welcome applicants starting their first trade career or making a career change.
