We are seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our Service & Inspection Division. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in the fire protection industry while learning from experienced Journeymen and Foremen.

As an apprentice, you will work alongside and under the guidance of a Journeyman to install, inspect, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment. This hands-on role provides the training and experience needed to develop the skills required for a successful career as a union sprinkler fitter.

What You'll Do:

  • Install and support piping using brackets, clamps, hangers, and related fastening methods.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for fire protection systems.
  • Safely operate tools and equipment used in the sprinkler fitting trade.
  • Travel to customer sites and job locations throughout the service area as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with the UA Local 669 Collective Bargaining Agreement and apprenticeship requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials, climbing ladders, working at heights, and working in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions from experienced tradespeople.
  • Desire to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career in the fire protection industry.

Apprentice Requirements

  • Attend all required UA Local 669 apprenticeship classes and training programs.
  • Maintain satisfactory progress and good standing within the apprenticeship program.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Why Join Fireline?

  • Earn while you learn through a nationally recognized union apprenticeship program.
  • Receive hands-on training from experienced sprinkler fitters.
  • Build a career in a highly skilled and in-demand trade.
  • Work for a company dedicated to protecting lives and property through quality fire protection services.
