Apprentice Intake x 2 – Monoblock Offset Machine Technician (Monoblock Printer Apprentice)

Location: Metals Mobeni

An exciting opportunity exists at Metals Mobeni for two Apprentices within the Monoblock Department.

Key responsibilities include:

▪Completion of all required theoretical modules for the trade.

▪Undergoing intensive on-the-job training and other related training.

▪Providing support to the production process with adequate levels of availability and reliability.

▪Demonstrating the ability to practically conduct maintenance and installations.

▪Acquiring problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

▪Adhering to plant rules, regulations and safety requirements.

▪Working effectively within a team-based environment.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

▪Matric with Maths, Physical Science and English as a second language, with a minimum 50% pass mark.

▪Must provide certificate and results (transcript) for NTC3 (or Higher).

▪Minimum NTC3 engineering, with relevant trade theory as a subject.

▪A good engineering understanding at a basic level

▪Team orientation, be systematic and well organized.

▪Basic computer literacy.

▪Good interpersonal & communication skills, positive attitude, able to use own initiative, team oriented, systematic, and well organized.

▪Ability to work overtime and shifts when required.
