APPRENTICE LIFT TECHNICIAN

As an Apprentice Technician at Lifta SA, you will be required to see to the following responsibilities:

• Installation of Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Ensuring all the required parts are packed for the installation of Home Lifts and Stairlifts

• Attend to call outs for Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Installing and testing electrical systems of Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Servicing and maintaining machine parts of Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Repairing or replacing system parts of Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Oiling and greasing moving parts of Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Carrying out safety checks on Home Lifts and Stairlifts;

• Maintaining stock and escalate supply issues;

• Maintaining a clean working area;

• Administrative reporting on daily activities;

• Provide regular feedback if and when needed on Skype work groups;

• Ensure you are always well dressed in staff uniform and clothing is always clean;

• Adhere to and comply with health and safety regulations at all times;

We are looking for recently qualified Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering graduates who are ready to take what they have learned and start building a hands-on technical career from 18 January 2027.

This is an entry-level opportunity and we are specifically looking for candidates who are not yet set in their ways. We want ambitious people who are eager to learn, willing to be trained and excited by the opportunity to develop their skills within a young, motivated and growing company.

Who are we looking for?

• Recently completed a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics

• Young, ambitious and motivated to build a technical career

• Willing to learn and take on board comprehensive technical training

• Comfortable working practically and getting hands-on

• Valid South African driver's licence

• Willing and able to travel when required

• Available to commence employment on 18 January 2027
