We're looking for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our North Coogee team. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving. You'll be learning hands-on from experienced tradespeople, working across a broad range of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

You won't be figuring this out on your own. Through our national Elevate Apprenticeship Program, you'll have a mentor in your corner and structured training and development to support you every step of the way.

Why Join Aussie Fluid Power

  • Structured training and development, including mentoring through our national Apprenticeship Program
  • Work for a respected Australian manufacturer with career pathways across our national network

Your Responsibilities

  • Work alongside experienced fitters on the installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic and fluid transfer systems
  • Learn to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Assist with fault-finding and troubleshooting across a range of equipment
  • Get hands-on with workshop tools, testing equipment, and field-based work
  • Attend training programs and courses to build your trade knowledge and skills

About You

  • Minimum Year 10 High School Certificate
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
  • Good mathematical and mechanical skills, with an enjoyment for technical work
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Current driver's licence and a strong safety mindset

A nationally recognised trade qualification, earned with a respected Australian manufacturer operating across mining, oil & gas, and process sectors in Australia and SE Asia. As part of Questas Group - a private equity-backed business with 32 sites and 850+ staff nationally — you'll have genuine career pathways to grow into once your ticket comes through.
