About the role

Assist senior mechanics in servicing and repair work for trucks and commercial vehicles. Gain practical experience and skills in commercial vehicle maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanics in servicing and repair work for trucks and commercial vehicles
• Perform basic maintenance such as engine oil changes, brake inspections, tyre and vehicle component checks
• Assist in vehicle inspections, periodic maintenance and repair work
• Learn to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle problems
• Assist in opening, repairing and reassembling vehicle components under senior mechanic supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of workshop area and work equipment
• Follow instructions from supervisors and senior mechanics

About you

• School and recent graduates welcome
• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field
• Candidates without work experience encouraged to apply
• Interested in building a career as a truck/commercial vehicle mechanic
• Willing to learn and perform hands-on work in a workshop
• Good attitude, disciplined and willing to receive guidance
• Valid driving licence is an advantage
