Setting: Brand-new, purpose-built nursery

Are you passionate about working with young children and ready to begin your career in Early Years?

We are opening a brand-new nursery in Lydney and are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our founding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn your craft properly — within a structured, well-led environment that values professionalism, warmth and high standards.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Support the care and development of children aged 3 months to 4 years
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, play, and learning activities
• Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
• Work alongside experienced practitioners and room leaders
• Complete a Level 3 Early Years qualification (as part of your apprenticeship)

You will be supported, mentored and developed — we are committed to building long-term careers, not just filling positions.

• Good communication skills
• GCSEs in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards them if required)

No prior childcare experience is required — attitude and commitment matter more.
