Are you looking to kickstart your career in business administration with a supportive company that truly values its people?
We are an established business with an open, friendly culture that has created a real community feel—we want our team to genuinely enjoy coming to work every day!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Apprentice Order Processor / Sales Administrator to join us, learn the ropes, and grow alongside our existing team.
Our offices are set in a beautiful, rural countryside location at Scatterbrook Farm in Latchingdon. Please note that because there is no public transport access to our site, holding a valid driving licence and having your own reliable transport is strictly essential.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity where you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, learning how to manage customer orders with an uncompromised eye for detail. What You Will Learn & Do:
- Order Management: Learn how to oversee customer order profiles from beginning to end, tracking their progress through to final delivery.
- System Training: Gain fully supported training on Sage software to accurately enter sales orders and generate internal paperwork for our warehouse.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our dedicated Purchasing team member to learn how to coordinate stock requirements and keep orders moving smoothly.
- Dispatch & Invoicing: Help pack and invoice orders once parts have been picked and have passed Quality Control (QC).
- Logistics & Shipping: Learn how to book couriers, generate shipping paperwork, and coordinate deliveries with transport networks.
- Customer Care: Develop the skills to track shipment and delivery dates, ensuring they correspond perfectly with customer expectations.
What We Are Looking For:
- Uncompromising Accuracy: Excellent attention to detail and a passion for getting things right the first time.
- Reliability & Drive: A dependable work ethic and a keen willingness to learn and take on feedback.
- Communication Skills: Great verbal and written communication skills to confidently talk with teammates and external couriers.
- Mobility: A valid driving licence and your own vehicle are required due to our beautiful, rural location.
- Qualifications: No previous office experience is required, but basic IT literacy and a positive attitude are vital.
Perks & Culture:
- Stunning Location: Work in a scenic, rural countryside setting at Scatterbrook Farm.
- Community Feel: Join a business that prides itself on an open, supportive, and friendly working culture.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy an early 3:00pm finish every single Friday.
- Health & Wellbeing: Full access to an onsite gym included.
