Downhill Plumbing is seeking a dependable, experienced Plumbing Apprentice or Journeyman Plumber to join our team. We specialize in new construction plumbing, with work ranging from underground and rough-in through final trim.

Applicants must have relevant plumbing experience and be able to provide proof of current certification/registration verifying Apprentice or Journeyman status.

Qualifications:

• Current Plumbing Apprentice or Journeyman status
• Proof of certification/registration is required
• New construction plumbing experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Strong attention to quality and jobsite safety

Duties

• Perform new construction plumbing from underground through final trim
• Install water, waste, vent, and gas piping systems
• Install plumbing fixtures and equipment
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and jobsite instructions
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials
• Test plumbing systems and identify/correct leaks or installation issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements
• Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment
• Work efficiently with other crew members and trades on the jobsite
• Complete assigned work accurately and within project schedules

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of current Colorado Apprentice registration or Journeyman Plumber license
• Plumbing experience appropriate to Apprentice or Journeyman level
• New construction plumbing experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe installation, materials, and tools
• Basic math skills for measurements and jobsite calculations
• Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and installation requirements
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a crew
• Willing and able to work in varying jobsite and weather conditions

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
