We are seeking a dedicated Plumber Helper, no experience necessary, to assist our experienced plumbing team.

In this role, your responsibilities include handing tools to the Plumber, cleaning the work area, holding pipes while the Plumber cuts and fits them, and disposing of debris. You will be learning plumbing skills on the job with the ultimate goal of becoming a plumbing technician at our company and having the oppportunity for advancement, not only in job title and performance, but also in compensation.

Our ideal candidate is physically fit, has an aptitude for manual labor, and is keen to learn.

The Plumber Helper will undergo paid on-the-job training, and therefore, prior experience is not necessary, but beneficial.

Ultimately, the Plumber Helper’s role is to ensure that the plumbing team’s operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Plumber in installing and repairing plumbing systems.
• Prepare work area for the Plumber by cleaning and removing debris.
• Hand tools and materials to Plumber as requested.
• Hold pipes in place while Plumber cuts and fits them.
• Dispose of waste materials in compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in carrying out routine inspections of plumbing systems.
• Perform basic repairs under the supervision of the Plumber.
• Learn and apply new skills as provided through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid US Social Security Card and driver’s license with clean record
• No previous work experience required, but experience as a Plumber Helper is advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle physical workload and manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Able to work well as a team
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in plumbing.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
