We are hiring Apprentices! Both Junior and Mature Apprentice applicants welcome!

We’re on the hunt for enthusiastic, driven individuals to join us as Apprentice Service Technicians in Refrigeration – Transport at our Darra, QLD site.

This full-time apprenticeship is your chance to enter a high-demand, future-proof trade while earning above-award rates, gaining hands-on experience, while getting the training required for your Cert 3 in Refrigeration. Your career progrssion with QTK is backed with product and industry training not just attending TAFE. If you're ready to step into an opportunity that sets you up for long-term success, this is it.

What you may get to learn and do:

• Hands-on preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in transport refrigeration systems
• Installing new refrigeration units
• Maintaining accurate service and repair documentation
• Upholding strict safety and industry standards
• Working alongside Senior Technicians on complex tasks
• Participating in continuous training and skill development

What We're Looking For

• A reliable, positive, and proactive attitude
• Genuine enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting instincts
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Strong customer service mindset
• A valid full driver’s license
