About the role:

We are seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator for our manufacturing site at Wetherill Park, NSW. The qualification on completion would be a Certificate III Engineering Light Fabrication.

The successful applicant will be punctual and reliable, be willing to learn and apply new techniques, learn new systems, and above all, be a team player.

About the candidate:

To be considered for the apprenticeship you need no experience but must have the following attributes:

• 2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship.
• Good communication, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and take instructions from qualified tradesmen
• Trade level mathematics skills (year 10 minimum)
• Genuine interest in beginning a career in metal fabrication
• Process of completing or completed prevocational course in metal fabrication (encouraged to apply)
• Metalwork (or similar) subject completion (year 10 minimum)
• Demonstrated IT literacy
• Someone who takes pride in their work
• Motivated and eager to learn
• Reliable, honest, and trustworthy
• It would be beneficial to have a car licence but not essential
