About the role

Are you passionate about the automotive industry and keen to take the first step in your career? John Hughes Group is looking for committed Apprentice Technicians to join our Wangara Team.

This is a full-time position that will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced technicians with vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs
• Gaining practical experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues
• Learning how to use specialised tools and equipment to complete a range of automotive tasks
• Participating in theoretical and practical training to develop your automotive expertise
• Ensuring a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures and policies

What we're looking for

• Must have a "Manual" driver's licence.
• A passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in learning new skills
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Commitment to completing an apprenticeship programme and obtaining a nationally recognised qualification
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
• Must have valid work eligibility in Australia, including all valid work visas
