Duties

• Assist with stock stocking, picking, and packing orders efficiently to meet daily targets
• Support the loading and unloading of shipments using manual handling techniques and forklift equipment where certified
• Help manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms, ensuring accurate stock levels
• Participate in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation
• Handle materials with care, ensuring safe transportation within the warehouse environment
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following health and safety protocols
• Support mechanical tasks or maintenance activities as needed, applying basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic about learning new skills in a fast-paced warehouse setting
• Basic understanding of materials handling and warehouse operations preferred
• Willingness to undertake forklift training and certification (training provided)
• Experience with warehouse management systems or AS400 is advantageous but not essential
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing manual tasks throughout the shift
• Construction or logistics experience is a plus but not required
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
