  • Cutting, grinding, buffing and metal preparation

  • Manufacturing components from drawings and specifications

  • Measuring and checking your work for accuracy

  • Preparing work for finishes like polishing, powdercoating and galvanising

  • Assembly, clean-up and general metalwork

We're looking for someone who

  • Is a current 3rd or 4th year apprentice

  • Can confidently use basic fabrication tools

  • Can read and work from technical drawings

  • Has an eye for quality and accuracy

  • Turns up on time and is ready to work

  • Wants to learn from experienced tradespeople

  • Works safely and takes pride in their work

Bonus points for

TIG experience, a White Card, a driver's licence, or an interest in furniture fabrication.

In return, you'll get

  • Above-award pay, based on your knowledge and experience

  • Stable full-time work

  • Paid time to attend TAFE/training

  • Help with the apprenticeship transfer paperwork

  • Early finishes: Monday–Thursday 6am–2.30pm, Friday 6am–12pm

  • Practical experience and ongoing development

  • The chance to complete your apprenticeship with an experienced team
