This position will provide you with hands-on training and the opportunity to develop valuable carpentry and cabinet making skills.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Assist experienced carpenters with the construction and installation of wooden structures, fixtures and fittings
• Learn how to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications
• Gain proficiency in the use of hand and power tools required for carpentry work
• Develop skills in measuring, cutting, shaping and assembling wood components
• Participate in the fabrication and installation of custom cabinetry and furniture
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols

About You

Along with your strong work ethic and willingness to learn you'll have/be:

• Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
• A genuine interest in and passion for the construction trades
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
