About the Role

We're looking for Cable Jointer Apprentices to join our team and start your journey towards becoming a qualified Cable Jointer.

You'll learn while you earn, gaining hands-on experience and working towards your Level 4 National Certificate, Registration and a Practicing Licence as a Cable Jointer.

You'll be involved in:

• Learning and developing cable jointing and electrical skills on the job
• Working with underground electrical cables and associated equipment
• Working safely in excavated trenches and around electrical infrastructure
• Reading and interpreting instructions and plans
• Supporting scheduled and emergency work as part of a close-knit team

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• A willingness to learn and develop through hands-on experience
• The ability to read and follow instructions and plans
• Confidence working outdoors and in all weather conditions
• A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality
• A current driver's licence, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle preferred

Pre-trade electrical experience is beneficial but not essential.

Experience in the civil, construction, or trades sector, particularly working with underground reticulation services, would also be an advantage.
