"Approval Engineer"

Review and Approval:

• Thoroughly review construction plans, designs, specifications, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and meets the required standards.
• Review and approve change orders, payment requests, and other project-related documentation.
• Quality Control:
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Perform quality control inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Identify and report any safety hazards or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel. Example Tasks:
• Reviewing architectural and structural drawings for compliance with building codes.
• Inspecting construction materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conducting site inspections to verify that construction activities are following approved plans.
• Preparing reports on project progress and issues.
• Collaborating with other engineers and contractors to resolve technical issues.
