Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Approved Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive driving instruction to students, ensuring they develop safe and confident driving skills. This role involves guiding learners through practical driving lessons, assessing their progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. The instructor will play a vital role in helping new drivers achieve their goals while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-car driving lessons for students of varying skill levels, focusing on safe driving practices and traffic laws
• Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning needs and progress
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their driving skills
• Prepare students for licensing exams by reviewing test requirements and conducting practice tests
• Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and attendance
• Ensure all lessons are conducted in compliance with local traffic regulations and safety standards
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that builds student confidence and motivation
• Stay updated on current driving laws, safety protocols, and instructional techniques

Experience

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable, especially in a classroom or one-on-one setting
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback to diverse learners
• Experience with classroom instruction or educational environments is a plus
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and best practices for driver education is preferred
• Previous experience as a driving instructor or in a related role will be considered an asset
