Are you customer-focused, technically capable and looking for an opportunity to support key Australian Government procurement and grants platforms? We are seeking multiple APS4-equivalent Procurement Helpdesk Officers to join a high-performing team responsible for delivering frontline support across nationally significant procurement and grants systems used by government agencies and suppliers across Australia.

Working within a collaborative Helpdesk environment, you will provide phone and email support to a broad stakeholder group, assisting with system access, troubleshooting, incident management, and general user enquiries. This role offers the opportunity to build valuable government experience while contributing to the smooth operation of critical procurement and grants platforms that support Commonwealth business activities.

Your new role

As an APS4 Procurement Helpdesk Officer, you will be responsible for delivering responsive and professional support services to system users across a range of digital procurement and grants platforms. You will manage enquiries, resolve common technical and operational issues, support account and access requests, and escalate complex matters when required.

You will also contribute to incident management activities, assist with testing and system release support, and maintain an up-to-date understanding of Helpdesk processes and guidance materials to ensure consistent service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you will demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, and working collaboratively within a team.

Previous experience in a procurement helpdesk, service desk, customer support, administration, ICT support, procurement support, grants administration or government operations environment will be highly regarded. Experience working with ticketing systems, managing user accounts, or supporting business applications will be advantageous.
