What they need

Meet Valeo ✌️

At Valeo, we develop technologies for cleaner, safer mobility. Our production teams turn those ideas into products—and make them work in the real world.

Why join the team? 🤗

You enjoy getting to the root of a problem and making sure it stays solved. As an APU Quality Engineer, you’ll work closely with production teams to strengthen process controls and address customer quality issues. Your habit of asking “why?” more than once will come in handy.

What you bring 🙃

Curiosity, initiative and a sense of responsibility. You communicate openly, follow through on your commitments and involve your team when finding solutions.

How we support you 🤝

You can count on guidance, training and colleagues to learn from. Your improvement ideas will have a place in the conversation.

Your mission as APU Quality Engineer 🔍🏭

  • Support QRQC problem-solving: initiate QRQC records in the QIM database, help APU Managers and the Site Manager analyse assigned issues, and uphold meeting rules, including “Stop at first disagree” and “Stop at first no”.
  • Contain and resolve quality issues: participate in containment actions, validate their robustness, contribute to eliminating customer and non-quality issues, and revise control plans after incidents.
  • Track quality performance: update APU quality tracking charts, including customer returns and Cost of Non-Quality.
  • Verify standards and process conformity: conduct line audits, identify actions with the APU to address deviations, and verify conformity with product specifications and control plans through machine capability checks and yearly product audits.
  • Control product and process changes: verify adherence to the 4M matrix, ensure customer awareness and approval as required, and update quality documentation following process changes.
  • Exercise your stop-line authority: stop manufacturing or assembly lines when standards are not respected, safety or quality risks to operators or customers are identified, or an LLC Stability audit result is below 100%.
  • Represent the customer internally: communicate customer quality expectations within Valeo and escalate quality matters appropriately.
  • Manage internal supplier incidents: oversee PD, CA and incident closure activities.

The background we’re looking for 🫵

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • More than 2 years of quality experience within the automotive industry.

Ready for your next move? 🔥

If you’re ready to tackle quality issues alongside production teams, strengthen everyday standards and make the customer’s voice count, we’d like to hear from you.

Apply and let’s discuss what you could bring to Valeo.
