Our Opportunity We are looking for permanent Process Worker to join our Porirua based Wild Abalone team.

The focus of this role is to be an integral member of the live paua production team, processing and packing paua for domestic and export orders.

Key Tasks

• Processing of paua; receipting, grading, packing and operational cleaning and compliance duties
• Monitoring tank system
• General labouring and quality control
• Inventory monitoring

This is a team-based role, so you need to enjoy working with others, supporting your colleagues and ensuring together targets are met, you keep each other safe and are delivering to a high standard.

What You Will Bring As a team player, with a strong work ethic, you will be hard working and physically fit. Honest and reliable, you will enjoy learning new skills, working with good people and following processes.

You will have completed NCEA, and ideally be working towards an aquaculture, fisheries or equivalent tertiary qualification and looking to gain practical experience in the industry. You will receive training, but it would be advantageous to have experience working in an operational environment, and/or seafood processing or similar.

You must be eligible to work in NZ and be a reliable and efficient worker.

Fit and healthy, you will need to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test and medical and be willing to commit to the fill length of the assignment.
