ROLE SUMMARY

As we grow, we’re looking for an A/R Accountant to own accounts receivable across our retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll keep invoicing, cash application, and collections accurate and on time, reconcile channel payouts, and protect revenue by validating and disputing retailer deductions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Manage invoicing and cash application across retail and direct-to-consumer channels
• Own collections and the A/R aging, following up on past-due balances with retail customers
• Reconcile channel payouts from e-commerce and marketplace platforms using A2X and Link My Books
• Match retailer billbacks to promotional agreements, and prepare trade spend accruals for month-end close
• Validate retailer and distributor deductions and manage the dispute process
• Prepare weekly deductions reporting for the Controller and leadership

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in accounts receivable
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition and trade promotion accounting
• Background in CPG or high-growth e-commerce (required)
• A/R experience with US retailers and distributors such as Target, Walmart, KeHE, UNFI, and Costco (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• Exposure to DTC order-to-cash reconciliations and platforms (highly preferred)
• Experience with retailer EDI platforms and deduction validation and disputes (highly preferred)
• Expertise in NetSuite or equivalent ERP (strongly preferred)
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines in a fully remote team

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
