Remote Raven

Our client is an Arizona-based community association management company serving large-scale, master-planned communities across several US states. Each community it manages is its own association, with its own books and its own bank account, and its own billing schedule. Homebuilders own lots in many of those communities and are billed per lot; homeowners receive statements; payments arrive as checks and ACH every day.
As the AR Billing Specialist, you own billing for an assigned portfolio of communities, from generating builder invoices and homeowner statements through posting payments, preparing deposits, and keeping every account accurate. You report to the AR department leader and work alongside builder contacts, community and site teams, and homeowners.
This seat takes a different level of trust. You will hold builder credits, identify refunds, and decide where every payment belongs, across many separate associations, on recurring deadlines. The people who succeed here are the ones whose numbers can be checked by anyone, at any time, and still hold up.
Key Responsibilities

<ul>
<li>Generate and distribute builder invoices on each community's established billing frequency, using the per-lot rates and lot counts on file.</li>

<li>Keep payment and deposit documentation organized and complete filing on a regular schedule.</li>
</ul>
Account Accuracy and Reconciliation
<ul>
<li>Review billing activity for errors or discrepancies and process the adjustments needed to keep every account accurate.</li>
<li>Review builder account balances for outstanding amounts, unapplied credits, and overpayments; transfer credits when appropriate or identify accounts that need refunds.</li>
<li>Keep the AR Information Sheet for each community current: billing amounts, frequencies, and other key details.</li>
</ul>
Records and Trackers
<ul>
<li>Maintain Excel and PDF copies of builder invoices and their supporting documentation in the designated folders for recordkeeping and audit.</li>
<li>Maintain statement packets and supporting documentation in the designated Accounts Receivable folders.</li>

<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Two or more years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a closely related accounting role.</li>
<li>You have posted payments against open invoices yourself and produced invoices or statements on recurring schedules.</li>
<li>A working understanding of debits and credits and accrual basics: what an invoice does to the books, what a payment does, and how credits, credit memos, and refunds work.</li>
<li>Strong Excel skills: XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and pivot tables, plus everyday Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word).</li>
<li>Clear, professional written English for emails to business contacts and to homeowners.</li>
<li>Able to work Arizona business hours every working day: US Mountain Time, which does not change for daylight saving, so roughly 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM Philippine time, Monday to Friday, all year.</li>

<li>Experience working across multiple entities that each keep their own books and bank accounts.</li>
<li>Prior remote work for a US-based company on a US schedule.</li>
<li>Experience preparing deposit backup or supporting an audit.</li>

<li>PDF tools for invoice and statement copies</li>
<li>Microsoft Teams and OneDrive</li>
<li>Hubstaff time tracking</li>
</ul>
What Makes You a Great Fit
<ul>
<li>You keep a schedule you trust, so no community's billing run is ever "forgotten until someone asks."</li>
<li>You read the remittance before you post a payment, and you notice when the numbers do not match.</li>
<li>You leave money where it belongs: an overpayment stays on the payer's account until someone decides what happens to it.</li>
<li>You correct mistakes in a way that leaves a trail, and you tell people about your own errors before they find them.</li>
<li>You can explain a balance to a homeowner in two plain sentences and to a builder's accountant in one table.</li>
<li>You go and get the evidence from the people who hold it, and you follow up when they go quiet.</li>
</ul>
What We Offer
<ul>
<li>Up to $6/hour</li>
<li>100% remote work</li>
<li>Full-time role</li>
</ul>
We hire for the long haul, so a steady track record of staying and growing always moves you up our list.
