ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE OFFICER

The ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE OFFICER is a key contributor in ensuring the Company receives all sales and cash collections from products and services correctly and in timely basis and secures the company’s revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolve any discrepencies.

Offline sales

• Record and reconcile sales and collections daily to match with bank deposits and point-of-sales (POS) reports and prepare the journal entries (if any) when discrepancies are found.
• Verify receipt voucher, commission vouchers and input VAT daily to ensure the book records are correct and reconcile to bank statement
• Print tax invoice for EDC commission and file it weekly
• Verify and submit refund requests to the Bank daily
• Maintain VAT refund for tourist report
• Communicate with various internal and external parties related to offline sales
• Ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards

Online sales

• Verify whether the automatic refund is reasonable. Refund to the customer via the payment gateway if the automatic refund doesn’t occur
• Reconcile account receivables weekly and prepare the journal entries (if any)
• Verify receipt voucher, commission voucher, and input VAT daily to ensure the book records are correct
• Submit the claim request to the courier company and follow up on overdue payment.
• Communicate with various internal and external parties related to online sales

Others

• Identify and suggest improvements to AR processes to enhance efficiency
• Ad-hoc report

Other knowledge and skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-2 years experience of accounts receivable, preferably in retail industry
• Conversant in MS Office and knowledge of SAP is preferred
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient in English communication
