A/R Staff

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Staff to join the Finance team at our schools. This is a full-time position based in East Java. As A/R Staff, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our organization by overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable operations. This position is essential to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining positive cash flow, and supporting the overall financial objectives of our school group.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing and recording customer invoices and payment transactions in the accounting system
• Monitoring and reconciling accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Following up on outstanding invoices and coordinating with clients regarding payment terms and due dates
• Preparing aged receivables reports and analyzing payment patterns to identify potential issues
• Processing customer payments and allocating funds to appropriate accounts
• Maintaining detailed records of all transactions and supporting documentation
• Assisting with month-end and year-end reconciliation procedures
• Responding to customer enquiries regarding invoices and payment information
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and reports related to accounts receivable
• Ensuring compliance with school policies and accounting standards

What We're Looking For

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general bookkeeping (minimum 1-2 years)
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and numerical work
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Willingness to learn and develop within the finance function
