Arbitration Specialist

About the Role

Minevich Law Group represents healthcare providers in out-of-network payment disputes. We are hiring an Arbitration Specialist to take the claims our provider clients upload through intake, filing, and brief submission in both Texas state arbitration and federal No Surprises Act (NSA) IDR. You will use the firm's pre-written brief formats for each process to complete and submit every case, under attorney supervision.

Responsibilities

• Calendar and track all filing, negotiation, and response deadlines for both State IDR
• File Texas arbitration requests through the TDI portal and upload NSA IDR briefs and documentation to the federal IDR portal, managing required forms, fees, and notices for state only.
• Gather claims, EOBs/remittances, itemized bills, medical records, and payer correspondence
• Prepare and submit Texas arbitration briefs and NSA IDR briefs using the firm's pre-written formats, tailored to each claim's facts and supporting data
• Review the payer's position or offer and incorporate responses as directed by the supervising attorney
• Confirm payment after awards and determinations and escalate non-payment to the attorneys for state arbitrations (not federal)
• Maintain accurate records in the case management system, including status, deadlines, and outcomes

Qualifications

• 2+ years in medical billing, revenue cycle, denial management, payer appeals, or legal support
• Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes, EOBs, and out-of-network reimbursement
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Reliable with hard, statutory deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel, document upload workflows, and case management systems

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
