Arborist - Climber

The Role

You will be carrying out a range of arboricultural work across residential and commercial sites throughout the Fraser Coast, including:

• Tree climbing and aerial tree work
• Tree removals
• Tree pruning
• Sectional dismantling
• Rigging and lowering
• Working from an EWP where required
• Groundwork and assisting with general tree operations as part of the crew

This is a hands-on crew role. When you are not climbing or working from the EWP, you will be expected to work alongside the rest of the crew on the ground and assist wherever required to keep the job moving safely and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

You must have:

• Proven experience as a cutter/climber in the tree industry
• Strong climbing ability and confidence working at height
• Experience with ropes and rigging
• Good knowledge of safe tree work practices
• Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of an established crew
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Current Australian driver’s licence

The following will be highly regarded:

• Certificate III in Arboriculture
• EWP experience and relevant high-risk work licence
• MR or HR driver’s licence
• Current First Aid
• Additional relevant arboriculture or machinery qualifications

What the Role Involves

Our crews start early and carry out physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

You must be prepared to work safely, maintain a good pace throughout the day and take pride in completing work professionally and leaving sites clean and tidy.

We are looking for someone who can genuinely contribute to the crew and work across both aerial and ground-based tree operations as required.
