Architect & Interior Designer

AURA DESIGNS is looking for creative and detail-oriented Architects and Interior Designers who can manage projects from concept development and space planning to technical drawings, 3D visualisation, material selection, site coordination, and final execution.

The ideal candidate should have strong design skills, knowledge of construction and interior materials, and practical experience in coordinating with clients, vendors, contractors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural and interior design concepts, space plans, furniture layouts, and design presentations.
• Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, electrical layouts, false-ceiling plans, flooring layouts, plumbing layouts, and working drawings.
• Create 3D models and realistic renders for client presentations and design approvals.
• Design and detail modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, crockery units, study units, vanities, partitions, ceilings, wall panelling, and custom furniture.
• Prepare architectural drawings, including doors, windows, faade details, and construction details.
• Select and specify materials such as plywood, laminates, veneers, marble, tiles, glass, hardware, lighting, fabrics, and paint finishes.
• Conduct site measurements and regular site visits to verify dimensions and monitor project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, fabricators, painters, vendors, and consultants.
• Ensure site execution follows approved designs, drawings, dimensions, materials, and specifications.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity estimates, material requirements, and basic project costing.
• Maintain drawing revisions, material approvals, site documentation, and project records.
• Identify design and site-related issues and coordinate practical solutions.
• Monitor project progress and ensure quality standards and project timelines are maintained.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, material selections, site discussions, and final project handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 25 years of relevant experience in architecture and interior design.
• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Strong design sense and proficiency in technical drawings and 3D visualisation.
• Practical knowledge of interior materials, construction details, and site execution.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and pay attention to dimensions and detailing.
