Architect/ Asst. Manager

1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architect with 5–8 years of professional experience to support and execute architectural design and project delivery activities. The candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural planning, design development, preparation of detailed working drawings, material specifications, and coordination with structural, MEP, and other consultants.

The role requires the ability to independently manage assigned architectural packages, ensure compliance with applicable building regulations and project requirements, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely and quality execution.

2. Key Roles and Responsibilities

A. Architectural Design & Planning

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed design proposals based on project briefs.
• Prepare and review space planning layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and other architectural drawings.
• Assist in developing design options, 3D views, presentation drawings, and material palettes.
• Ensure design consistency, functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with project requirements.
• Incorporate comments and design revisions into drawings and presentations.

B. Working Drawings & Documentation

• Prepare detailed architectural working drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, wall details, door-window schedules, staircase details, toilet details, and other construction details.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, landscape, and other specialist consultants.
• Develop material specifications, schedules, and architectural details required for tendering and execution.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents submitted by contractors.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and project documentation.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Architectural planning, design development, and construction detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUP, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office is a must.
• Familiarity with rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building materials, construction methodologies, and architectural finishes.
• Understanding of building codes, statutory requirements, and consultant coordination.
• Strong drawing interpretation, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Good communication, coordination, time management, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple project assignments and meet deadlines.

4. Experience & Qualifications

• B.Arch degree from a recognized institution.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, detailing, documentation, and project coordination.
