About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architect to join Akari Lighting & Technology Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in shaping the design and technical direction of our projects. As an Architect, you will be responsible for developing innovative architectural solutions that align with our company's vision and deliver exceptional value to our clients. Key responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop architectural designs that meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project objectives
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, and specifications using industry-standard software and tools
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
• Manage the design development process from initial concept through to construction documentation
• Ensure compliance with building codes, planning regulations, and safety standards throughout all project phases
• Present designs and proposals to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and refining solutions
• Monitor construction progress and provide technical support to ensure designs are executed as intended
• Stay current with emerging architectural trends, technologies, and sustainable design practices

What we're looking for:

• A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent professional qualification
• Professional registration or licensure as an Architect in your respective jurisdiction
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or equivalent tools
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards
• Excellent technical drawing and visualization skills with the ability to communicate design concepts clearly
• Project management experience with demonstrated ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience in sustainable design practices and green building certification (LEED, BREEAM, or equivalent) is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Portfolio demonstrating previous architectural projects and design expertise
