Job Purpose

The Project Architect is responsible for translating client requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing,

and buildable architectural and interior design solutions. The architect will oversee the design process from

concept development to construction documentation while working closely with the interior design,

production, procurement, and project management teams to ensure every project is executed to the highest

quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Consultation & Design Development

Attend client meetings to understand project requirements.

Conduct site visits and measurements.

Develop architectural concepts that align with the client's needs and budget.

Present design ideas professionally using mood boards and 3D visualizations.

Revise designs based on client feedback.

2. Architectural Design

Produce architectural oor plans.

Prepare furniture layouts.

Develop ceiling plans.

Produce electrical and lighting layouts.

Prepare plumbing layouts where required.

Design elevations and detailed sections.

Produce detailed design drawings.

Ensure all drawings comply with building regulations and standards.

3. Interior Design Coordination

Work closely with the interior design team.

Select suitable nishes, materials, and color schemes.

Coordinate with furniture designers to ensure seamless integration.

Ensure every design is practical for execution.

4. 3D Visualization

Produce high-quality 3D renderings.

Prepare walkthrough animations when required.

Create presentation boards for client approval.

Ensure rendered images accurately re ect proposed materials and nishes.

5. Project Documentation

Prepare complete documentation including:

Working drawings

Joinery details

Wardrobe details

Kitchen details

TV unit details

Ceiling details

Wall cladding details

Staircase details

Material schedules

Door schedules

Window schedules

Furniture schedules

6. Site Supervision

Visit project sites regularly.

Verify that work matches approved drawings.

Resolve technical issues on site.

Coordinate with contractors and artisans.

Prepare site inspection reports.

Monitor design quality during execution.

7. Coordination with Production Team

Work closely with:

Factory Manager

Production Manager

CNC Operators

Carpenters

Installers

Responsibilities include:

Clarifying technical drawings.

Solving production challenges.

Approving shop drawings.

Ensuring accurate dimensions before production.

Supporting installation teams during execution.

8. Quality Assurance

Inspect completed work before client handover.

Ensure all installations meet company standards.

Identify defects and coordinate corrections.

Ensure projects are delivered defect-free.9. Material Speci cation

Marine plywood

Veneers

Laminates

Quartz

Granite

Marble

Glass

Lighting xtures

Hardware

Accessories

Paint nishes

10. Project Coordination

Coordinate with:

Quantity Surveyors

Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers, HVAC Contractors, Furniture Production Team

Procurement Department, Site SupervisorsDesign Quality

95% rst-time approval rate on client presentations.

Minimal design revisions caused by avoidable errors.

Drawing Accuracy

Less than 2% drawing-related site errors.

Accurate dimensions on all issued drawings.

Project Delivery

Meet agreed design milestones.

Deliver drawings within scheduled timelines.

Site Coordination

Conduct scheduled site inspections.

Resolve site issues within 24 hours where practical.

Client Satisfaction

Positive feedback from clients on design quality, communication, and professionalism.

Production Support

Prompt responses to factory and installation queries.

Accurate shop drawings that reduce production errors.

Required Quali cations

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

Registered architect (preferred where applicable).

Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in architecture or interior design projects.

Experience with luxury residential and commercial interiors is an advantage.

Behavioural Expectations

Pay: From ₦250,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lagos (Lagos)
