About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented Architect with hands-on experience in architectural design, technical drawings, detailing, and project documentation. The candidate should be capable of developing projects from concept/design stage through detailed technical documentation, with good understanding of construction practices and relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings.
• Prepare accurate technical and construction drawings based on project requirements.
• Develop detailed design and working drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, dimensions and technical compliance.
• Prepare GA drawings, detail drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Interpret architectural concepts and convert them into practical, technically feasible designs.
• Coordinate with engineers, BIM teams and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve design clashes, technical issues and drawing discrepancies.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable building regulations, standards and project specifications.
• Work on revisions based on consultant/client feedback and maintain proper drawing records.
• Support project teams during the design development and technical documentation stages.
• Maintain quality and consistency across all project deliverables.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD – essential.
• Good working knowledge of Revit Architecture/BIM.
• Knowledge of SketchUp and other 3D modelling tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and relevant codes will be highly preferred.
• Understanding of RIBA project stages is an advantage.
• Ability to read and coordinate Structural and MEP drawings.
• Good knowledge of materials, construction methods and building components.
• Strong understanding of plans, sections, elevations, details and technical documentation.

Preferred Candidate

• B.Arch / equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Candidates with experience working on UK projects will be preferred.
• Strong technical drawing and detailing capabilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deliverables.
• Technically strong candidates with excellent drawing/detailing skills are highly preferred.
