Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our architecture and design firm. The candidate will be involved in architectural design, concept development, space planning, working drawings, construction drawings, 2D drafting, 3D modelling, design development and site coordination for residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, excellent understanding of architectural drawings and detailing, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, design proposals and space planning based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, working drawings and construction drawings.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, details and architectural layouts.
• Create and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and design visualizations using SketchUp.
• Prepare detailed architectural and construction working drawings for execution.
• Develop design concepts from initial concept stage through detailed design and execution.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP and other consultant drawings.
• Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and present design concepts.
• Incorporate client feedback and prepare design revisions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and site teams.
• Conduct site visits to understand site conditions and monitor execution as per approved drawings.
• Resolve architectural and design-related issues during project execution.
• Prepare material specifications, design details and architectural schedules.
• Assist in preparing BOQ, quantity estimates and material requirements wherever required.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and issued to the site within project timelines.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals and project documentation.
• Ensure architectural designs are practical, functional and aligned with project requirements.
• Assist in developing presentation drawings, mood boards and design presentations.
• Coordinate with the project team throughout the design and construction stages.

Candidate Profile

• B.Arch / Bachelor of Architecture from a recognized institution.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in an architecture firm / architectural consultancy.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Good understanding of architectural design, construction drawings and detailing.
• Ability to develop designs from concept to execution.
• Strong visual and design sense.
• Good communication and client coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a design team.
• Willingness to visit project sites when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ludhiana, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
