Architect

Role Description

The Architect is responsible for developing architectural concepts, designs, drawings, models, and technical documentation for building and development projects. The role involves translating design requirements into functional, sustainable, and aesthetically considered architectural solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, standards, and project requirements. The Architect coordinates architectural information with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and other disciplines to support integrated project delivery. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, reviewing design details, addressing technical issues, and contributing to the refinement of architectural solutions throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires strong design judgment, technical understanding, creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related architectural discipline.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methods, materials, and spatial planning.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, standards, planning requirements, and accessibility principles.
• Proficiency in architectural design and documentation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to develop and interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and presentation materials.
• Strong understanding of design development, construction documentation, detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong creative, analytical, problem-solving, and visual communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to design quality, functionality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to communicate architectural concepts and technical information clearly to different stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple design requirements.
• Professional proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
