Architect

Adkan Group is seeking a creative, talented, and detail-oriented Architect with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, producing 3D visualisations, coordinating with other design professionals, and supporting the execution of construction and real estate development projects.

The ideal candidate must possess strong design skills, sound technical knowledge, proficiency in architectural software, and the ability to translate project requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and practical architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, designs, and detailed working drawings for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations.
• Prepare and revise architectural drawings in line with project requirements and management instructions.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Assist in preparing design presentations, project proposals, and other architectural documentation.
• Review construction drawings and identify design discrepancies or coordination issues.
• Assist with planning submissions, building approval documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building regulations, standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Work collaboratively with senior architects, engineers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Keep up to date with current architectural trends, materials, construction technologies, and sustainable design practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum of 3years of relevant professional experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, or other relevant architectural software.
• Ability to prepare architectural working drawings and detailed construction documents.
• Experience in 3D modelling, rendering, and architectural visualisation.
• Good understanding of building materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
• Ability to interpret architectural briefs and translate them into practical design solutions.
• Strong creativity, technical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Good communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of Nigerian building regulations and planning approval procedures is an advantage.
