Overview Cohort Design Studio is an architecture and interior design studio based in Pune, working across bespoke residences, villas, farmhouses, and hospitality spaces. We believe in creating spaces that are thoughtful, refined and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them. Our work brings together architecture, interiors, materials, furniture, lighting and landscape to create cohesive experiences. The Role We are looking for a Junior Architect who is passionate about architecture and has a strong interest in interior design and detailing. The ideal candidate will work closely with the principals and project teams across different stages of projects—from design development and drawings to material selections and site coordination. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow beyond drafting and develop a strong understanding of how a project is designed and executed. Who Would Fit Well at CDS? Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural and interior design concepts.
• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings including plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
• Develop and modify SketchUp models for architectural and interior spaces.
• Assist with material, furniture, lighting and finish selections.
• Prepare presentations, mood boards and design documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors and contractors.
• Participate in site visits and assist with site coordination.
• Understand drawings and translate design intent into executable details.
• Assist the senior team in developing projects from concept to execution.
• Maintain drawing sets and project documentation.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in architecture/interior design.
• Degree/Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Understanding of architectural construction and interior detailing.
• Good visual sense and attention to materials, proportions and details.
• Genuine interest in interior design and high-end residential spaces.
• Ability to understand and develop design concepts.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design thinking and technical ability.
• Good to Have
• Knowledge of V-Ray / Enscape or other visualization software.
• Experience with interior detailing and furniture drawings.
• Understanding of electrical, false ceiling and joinery drawings.
• Experience with residential or hospitality projects.
