Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools and BIM platforms to produce accurate construction drawings and detailed models.
• Lead the creation of construction documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and construction accessibility regulations compliance to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and consultants to negotiate project scopes, budgets, and timelines while ensuring alignment with Florida building code analysis and regulatory compliance standards.
• Manage project scheduling and budgeting processes to ensure timely delivery within scope while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize rendering software such as Adobe Creative Suite and visualization tools to produce compelling presentations and renderings that communicate design intent effectively.
• Conduct building code analysis and building information modeling (BIM) for sustainable design initiatives that prioritize energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
• Oversee construction management activities including site visits, construction detail documentation, renovation projects, and interior design integrations to ensure adherence to design specifications.

Requirements

• You must hold an active architect license issued by the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design.
• Two year minimum experience in architectural design demonstrating expertise in construction drawings, construction documentation, and project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit; 3D modeling tools such as Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, or SketchUp; rendering tools like 3ds Max; graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite; and BIM tools for building information modeling.
• Solid understanding of construction estimating, project scheduling (Bluebeam), contracts management, budgeting practices, and construction regulatory compliance.
• Assemble and organize permit-ready drawing sets and technical packages for municipal submittals.
• Hands-on experience with sustainable design principles and building code analysis to ensure projects meet all accessibility regulations and safety standards.
• Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Construction experience encompassing interior design, renovation projects, construction accessibility regulations compliance, and detailed construction management.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
