Architect

Overview Architect Lokhandwala F.T. is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Architect to join its professional team. The candidate will be responsible for architectural design development, space planning, preparation of detailed working drawings, and coordination with consultants and project teams. The role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, construction practices, design documentation, and project requirements, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant architectural software.

Responsibilities

• * Develop architectural design concepts, layouts, and space-planning proposals in accordance with project requirements.
• *Prepare detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, elevations, sections, and construction documentation.
• • Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant architectural software.
• *Coordinate with senior architects, interior designers, consultants, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• * Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• * Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, codes, and project standards.
• * Assist in material selection, design detailing, and preparation of project presentations.
• * Review drawings and incorporate revisions based on client feedback and project requirements.
• * Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

• * Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution.
• * Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural software will be an advantage.
• * Strong understanding of architectural design, space planning, construction drawings, and detailing.
• * Ability to prepare accurate architectural drawings and technical documentation.
• * Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• * Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• *Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team and meet project deadlines.
• * Prior experience in an architectural firm is preferred; freshers with strong technical skills may also apply.
