ARCHITECT (Minimum 5 years of relevant experience)

About the role

Architects to assist with the delivery of retail and residential projects in VIC and ACT, from inception through to completion. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunity to work closely with directors and opportunity to grow and advance. Develop your technical and project experience and progress within the practice for motivated individuals. Training and support available to help you build your sector knowledge.

Key responsibilities (As per Australian Standards)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp.

• Work with an experienced team delivering retail projects

• Verify all drawings meet required quality, safety, NCC and Australian Standards

• Produce feasibility, development application, tender and construction design documentation

• Prepare architectural plans, building details and project specifications

• Liaise with consultants, builders and the project team

• Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, detailing, working drawings, and project documentation.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.

• Review drawings, specifications, materials, and technical submissions.

• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings and design standards of Australia.

• Resolve design and site-related issues and coordinate necessary revisions.

• Ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with project requirements.

• Requirements

• B.Arch / M.Arch from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• Professional experience working on residential is required.

• Excellent organisation, coordination and communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to identify design/construction issues and suggest practical solutions

• Ability to manage multiple projects and complete drawings and submissions within deadlines.
