ARCHITECT COORDINATOR

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Coordinator / Engineer to manage on-site architectural works, coordinate multidisciplinary designs, and ensure high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Review: Evaluate architectural blueprints, shop drawings, material submissions, and specifications before construction begins.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Align architectural designs with structural, civil, M&E, ID, and landscape disciplines to ensure harmony and resolve discrepancies.
• On-Site Management: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, manpower allocation, and timeline progress.
• Issue Resolution: Identify design conflicts and constructability issues early, raising RFIs and collaborating with consultants and suppliers to resolve them.
• Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to approved drawings, method statements, and site safety/environmental requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain updated site databases for drawings and revisions, while assisting with inspection requests, progress reports, and final handover documents.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Demonstrated, practical construction experience directly managing architectural or building works on active project sites. 3–5 years of experience is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil/Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related discipline.
• Sector Asset: Prior experience handling commercial developments, high-rise buildings, infrastructure layouts, healthcare facilities, or large-scale industrial plants is a distinct advantage.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot architectural, M&E, and structural drawings.
• Software: Explicit familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required; operational knowledge of Revit or BIM platforms is considered an advantage.
• Location: Based in Kulim, Kedah, or willing to work full-time at the Kulim site office (including traversing site terrain and coordinating with the engineering tea

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
