ARCHITECT/ DRAFTMAN

About the role

LM Civil Engineering Construction is seeking a talented Architect/Draftman to join our dynamic team in Naga City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the design and technical delivery of our construction projects. As an Architect/Draftman, you will be responsible for translating conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications that guide our construction teams. This position is integral to ensuring that our projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections and details using CAD software
• Develop and maintain construction documentation and technical specifications for building projects
• Conduct site surveys and take measurements to inform accurate design and drafting work
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to ensure design intent is clearly communicated
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, consultants and regulatory bodies
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards and local regulations
• Produce 3D visualisations and renderings to support project presentations and client communications
• Maintain organised project files and documentation systems
• Support the estimation and scheduling of construction projects based on design requirements
• Participate in design meetings and contribute technical insights to improve project outcomes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar design tools
• Strong technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of building codes, construction standards and architectural regulations applicable in the Philippines
• Experience in preparing construction documentation and technical specifications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Professional registration or licensure as an architect is highly desirable
• Previous experience in residential, commercial or infrastructure projects is advantageous
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) practices is a plus
